Go-to Holiday Look

Hai guyz. I've been on holiday around America for the last few weeks, but I wanted to make a post to wish everyone happy holidays ^_^. I've been wearing this look a bit more frequently now that it's cold and winter-y. I love Illamasqua Disciple, it's definitely my power red lipstick. I wear it with Illamasqua Please, a medium pencil in the exact shade, just to perfect my lip line. Disciple wears so hard. Love it.
Got so many compliments on it, but not all Sephoras carry Illamasqua? Makes me feel lucky to have our amazing counter in Melbourne <3. And really sad that I don't get to attack the counter on Boxing Day :(.

Sweetheart needs to calm down on the sugar.

Long time, no makeup! I've finally finished classes and exams for the semester, and took a little break :3. Had a little play with my Sugarpill palettes (Sweetheart palette in particular), inspired by Porcelain

Gotta love the Ecotools blending brush.

Awww yeah, love that Sugarpill.

Neutral Smokey Look With Ombre Lips

How's that for an informative title?
This is a pretty simple look; super blended brown/black/purple outer-v, neutral lid with inner corner and brow highlight. I paired it with a slightly more interesting ombre lip or two -- one dramatic, as you can see here, and one more neutral (but still a bit weird/interesting) that you can see under the cut.

Just look at all that Illamasqua. Yum.
Hopefully the picture below shows the glitter - I dusted Illamasqua Pure Pigment in Beguile all over my lids. It's very pretty and sparkly in real life, without being over the top. Extra sparkle in the inner corner courtesy of Illamasqua Synth shadow.

Scull!

Yeah....I really love Hallowe'en. What can I say.
Ahaaa, yes that is a drinking pun. Not a spelling error. God I'm a horrible person.

One last, really quick one before Hallowe'en is over for another year (*sob*). This was super easy to do and doesn't require many products. And you don't have to be careful/exact with it either :D. I mostly used Rick Genest/Zombie Boy for reference.
Yeah boi.

Just a casual green demon look...

Oh hai there.
These pictures were taken after 7 hours of wear ^_^. My friends and I went out to a RIDICULOUS Hallowe'en party. It was glorious. Super impressed to see people who actually turn it out for Hallowe'en in Australia.
Pretty drunk/tired at this point. Hahah.
I used Petrilude's tutorial (see here) to create a similar shape, although I used different products and changed it slightly of course :). Initially I was going to do a Maleficent look but the cheap black wig I got was just...too much. Plus I love the whole green + purple combination.
Mmmm Flash Palette. Oh yeahhhh.
For more pictures, product information follow the jump! I will pre-warn you about my brows though. They did not really cover/last well (damn you brow hairs!!).

Intense Sugarpill Look: Inspired

I was inspired by Roxanne R.'s Beautylish post. My version is quite different due to our differences in eye shape. I also didn't quite pastel-out the shadows like she did. The result is a mostly blue-green look with a hidden shock of pink and orange.

This features the majority of my Sugarpill pressed shadows, as well as a creepy pink custom lip tar mix. The mix was primarily Feathered with a drop of Kava Kava and a tiny tiny amount of Anime.

Products and detailed application will be updated later; I filmed a tutorial for this one which should be uploaded sometime this week :3

Illamasqua Disciple

This look is centred around my new favorite lipstick, Disciple from Illasmasqua~

Oh Disciple. I love you.

This was a super quick look! Took full advantage of the scotch-tape trick.

Products used. Oops forgot TFSI!
Disciple is applied straight from the tube. It has amazing lasting power!

Meet Isabelle.

Isabelle is my soulmate. Isabelle is my best friend. Isabelle is patient.

It was SO. HARD. To make foundation for her out of my products. Her skin differs from mine in probably every aspect other than that we both have it. I ended up blending together two Illamasqua Rich Liquid Foundations, some Cetaphil, a coral/peach color from my MUFE Flash Palette, and who knows what else! And it was still wrong! Hahah.

I gave up trying to match her after a while and just went with it. It was...different. I blended it down her neck so it's not so obvious here, but irl....wow. Yep.

Dramatic Neutral with Sugarpill!

Now for a dramatic, but not overly colorful look!

BAM! NSFW Lip Tar from OCC.
Again, busting out the Sugarpill and OCC Lip Tar. May or may not be obsessed.

Look! I straightened up my nose-jewelry for you :3
This makeup is pretty simple tbh, the hardest part was the liner. But if you aren't scared of thick liner it's easier to layer it up to get it perfect ^_^ Or close enough to perfect that others don't notice ;DDD.

Is that enough pink for you?

I normally tend towards blues and purples for my makeup, but the weather was so sunny and lovely today that I just had to bust out OCC lip tar in Anime <3. And of course with that I wanted to wear Sugarpill Dollipop...and Urban Decay Fishnet. Pinks abound!

These photos were taken after 8+ hours of wear, reapplying lipstick only.
I also went on an adventure to Geelong where my best friend and I acquired some new facial jewelry... I don't like playing with new piercings until they've healed so apologies if my lack of symmetry is at all irritating!

Products used; for more details follow the jump :3
To keep the pink from being overwhelming I shaped it so it just shows in the outer v.

Wing it out with Sugarpill

Today I opted for a more colorful look using one of my great loves, Sugarpill. Poison Plum and Stella are two of my favorites. For this look I used just Tako (a white) and Poison Plum (purple) to create a purple fade, and used Stella (amazing black with RAINBOW SPARKLES COULD IT BE MORE BEAUTIFUL I THINK NOT) to create a wing both in my crease and upper lashline :)

Of course I had to try it with a black lip, I think it looks awesome! Make Up For Ever Rouge Artiste Intense in 50.

Yes these are the same brows. No I don't know why my flash despises them ;__;.
Products used are pictured below. More pictures and details after the jump!

Silver Hair and a Soft Look

...and after a long, accidental haitus I have returned! Most likely because I have a number of assignments due over the next few weeks, and this is the best possible way I could be spending my time ^_~. I went grey/silver for graduation, and here is a soft neutral look to celebrate the oddly pleasant sunny-winter day we had today.

Here's the look! Do you like my hair color :)?
Eye/lip products used, not including brushes.

Doll Face

I decided to try my hand at Miss Luna's Makeup Challenge; the theme was "Doll Face". I wanted to go for something more mask-like with a porcelain base. Of course I also used makeup to enlarge my eyes and give my lips an over-exaggerated heart shape. A pair of circle lenses certainly helped, although I think my doll is more scary than dainty ^_^. Did little blue hair buns make me more doll-y? I don't think I've seen many dolls sporting blue locks.

For a more "wearable" look I removed the facial makeup carefully, keeping my eye makeup intact. I think it looks more sweet this way, and less I-am-going-to-kill-you-in-the-night.

More pictures after the jump~

With and without flash:

Amazing Kryolan lashes on top, pasty white face courtesy of Illamasqua Rich Liquid in 100 (pure white with the most amazing coverage. Can't wait to try their Skin Base foundation <3).

Is that enough eyeball for you ;D?

I removed the facial/lip makeup, added a bit of concealer and whatnot, a soft pink lip (OCC's Anime Lip Tar diluted with the Clear; perfect long-lasting jelly lip). Now hopefully it looks like doll makeup ^_^.

While I may have gone slightly crazy with the pictures, I think it was somewhat warranted by the makeup. What do you reckon, doll-like :)?
