Silver Hair and a Soft Look

...and after a long, accidental haitus I have returned! Most likely because I have a number of assignments due over the next few weeks, and this is the best possible way I could be spending my time ^_~. I went grey/silver for graduation, and here is a soft neutral look to celebrate the oddly pleasant sunny-winter day we had today.

Here's the look! Do you like my hair color :)?

This is quite a simple look, not exactly the most interesting thing I've ever done but I still think it's pretty :3
For once in my life I went easy on the blush

Still can't figure out a go-to brow color for this hair. I've been doing purple and dark grey so far.

I did my base, then started with a tiny drop of Too Faced Shadow Insurance (TFSI) primer. I put it all over my lid and even on my brows ;D. MAC Brule on the lid/under my brows, NYX Dark Brown and MAC Scene in the crease blended well. I also traced Scene along the outer corner and a bit on my lower lashline as well, and blended heavily. I used Sugarpill Tako from the Sweetheart palette in the inner corner and a nice wing using Inglot 77 AMC Eyeliner Gel, followed by a nice coat of Covergirl Lashblast Volume.

Please note that I do not recommend purchasing these MAC shadows as they have terrible pigmentation (not that all ). Srsly. Don't go there. They perform okay with TFSI but there are just so many better shadows out there...like the NYX and Sugarpill ones :)

For my brows I used NYX Eyebrow Cake Powder in ECP01 Black/Gray, using the darker shade on the tail end and the lighter shade on the...inside...bit? Lips were NYX Retractable Lip Liner in Nude with a dab or two of Chanel Rouge Allure Laque no. 78 Phoenix in the center. These products are all great; in particular I absolutely love Phoenix, it is the perfect lip color for superhero blue hair ^_^.

    1. Hello Michelle! My apologies for the delayed response, final year engineering caught up with me haha. This particular combo was created by the hair wizards at Wildilocks, and took hours of bleaching and toning. I believe Directions Silver was involved but in combination with other colours. I have received similar results myself using Pravana Vivids Silver (and much lightening)!
